최근 한국 대사관과 한-러비즈니스협의회가 주최한 ‘한러 경제협력 대화’에서 캄차트카 개발공사 페긴 사장은 “양국 기업간 새로운 협력의 길을 보여주었다”고 말했다. 이날 행사에는 양국 외교관과 정부 당국자들은 물론 기업 대표들이 참석했다.

이번 행사에서는 지난해 말 한국 문재인 대통령이 제안한 러시아와의 경제협력 활성화 프로그램 ‘아홉 개의 다리’의 한 일환으로 양국간 유대 발전 문제들이 논의되었다. ‘이홉 개의 다리’프로그램은 에너지, 교통, 북극해 항로 개발, 조선, 농업 및 수산업 분야 비즈니스 관계 발전을 전제로 하고 있다.

행사 개막식에는 우윤근 주러 대한민국 대사를 비롯해 모로조프 산업통상부 차관, 춥셰바 러시아 전략적 이니셔티브 청장, 최근 한러비즈니스 협의회 회장으로 피선된 라흐마노프 통합 조선사 회장이 참석했다. ‘아홉개의 다리’의 구체적인 분야들은 세 개의 세션으로 나누어 논의를 거쳤다. 페긴 사장은 이 세션에서 보고서를 발표한 유일한 지역 대표다.

페긴 사장은 “현재 한러 비즈니스 협력이 지향할 구체적인 매개변수들이 수립되었다”면서 양국 교역량 300억 달러 달성, 연간 인적교류 100만명 달성의 목표가 제시되었다”고 밝혔다. 또한 그는 세션 발표에서 캄차트카 주가 이 과제 해결에 이미 공헌하고 있다고 소개했다.

한국의 국제적인 파트너 중의 하나인 캄차카 주는 한국과 대외 교역량의 42%를 차지하고 있다. 양국간 관광 산업도 활발히 발전하고 있다. 페긴 사장은 이런 예를 기초로 “캄차트카는 한러 비즈니스 대화에서 중요한 위치를 차지하고 있다”고 말했다.

페긴 사장은 이번 포럼에서 캄차트카 주와 한국의 경제적, 인문 교류에서 캄차트카 개발공사가 기여한 바에 대해 소개하고 설명했다.

최근 포항에서 개최된 제1차 한러 지방협력 포럼에서 캄차트카 개발공사는 한국 기업들과 캄차트카 주 실행 공동 프로젝트 3건의 계약을 체결한 바 있다. 그 중의 하나는 금광 개발과 관련된 내용이고, 다른 두 건은 캄차트카 휴양지 내 관광 프로그램 및 호텔 건설에 관한 것이다. 캄차트카 개발 공사는 한국 기업들과 다른 계약들도 맺은 바 있다.

캄차트카 개발공사는 또한 최근 관광 분야에 종사하는 한국 기업가 약 30명을 대상으로 캄차트카 주에서 로드 쇼를 개최한 바 있다. 이 로드쇼를 통해 한국 기업가들은 캄차트카 주의 관광산업 현황을 알고 그 개발전략 전술을 소개받으며, 러시아측 업체들과 협력 협상을 벌이고 협력 계약을 체결했다.

양국 관광산업 대표자들은 이 행사를 긍정적으로 평가했다. 페긴 사장의 보고서는 청중의 관심을 불러 있으켰다. 또한 페긴 사장은 한국 외교관 대표들과 사업계 대표자들과의 상담에 초청을 받았다.

During the recent "Korea-Russia Economic Cooperation Dialogue" hosted by the South Korean embassy and the Korea-Russia Business Council, Faggin, president of the Kambatka Development Corporation, said the two countries showed a new path for cooperation between companies. The event was attended by diplomats and government officials from the two countries as well as business representatives.

The goal of achieving 30 billion U.S. dollars in bilateral trade and 1 million people in annual human exchanges has been put forward, Fegin said, adding that specific parameters that Korea-Russia business cooperation will pursue at present. He also explained in the session's announcement that Kamchatka is already contributing to the task.

The state of Kamchatka, one of Korea's international partners, accounts for 42 percent of Korea's foreign trade volume with the country. Tourism between the two countries is also actively developing. Based on this example, Pekin said, Kamchatka has an important position in the Korea-Russia business dialogue.

At the forum, Fegin introduced and explained the Kamchatka Development Corporation's contribution to the economic and humanities exchanges between Kamchatka state and South Korea.


At the first Korea-Russia Regional Cooperation Forum recently held in Pohang, Kamchatka Development Corp. signed three contracts with South Korean companies for a joint project to implement Kamchatka state. One of them is related to the development of gold mines, and the other two are on the construction of tour programs and hotels in the Kamchatka resort. Kamchatka has also signed other contracts with Korean companies.

Kamchatka also recently hosted a road show in Kamchatka state for about 30 South Korean entrepreneurs working in the tourism sector. Through the road show, Korean entrepreneurs were introduced to the development strategy tactics after learning about the state of the tourism industry in Kamchatka, engaging in cooperative negotiations with their Russian counterparts and signing cooperative deals.

Representatives from the two countries' tourism industries gave a positive assessment of the event. Mr. Pegin's report attracted the attention of the audience. Pegin was also invited to consult with representatives of South Korean diplomats and business circles.
