우리은행(은행장 손태승)이 데이터 기반의 자산관리 플랫폼 뱅크샐러드와 ‘데이터 경제 활성화를 위한 데이터 금융 환경 조성 MOU’를 체결했다.
이번 협약을 통해 우리은행과 뱅크샐러드는 양사의 빅데이터 인프라와 기술력을 활용하여, 금융 데이터에 기반한 고객 맞춤형 상품과 서비스를 공동으로 출시할 계획이다. 이를 위해 우리은행은 뱅크샐러드에게 ▲오픈 API 제공, ▲뱅크샐러드 연계 금융상품 및 서비스 제공, ▲공동 상품 개발 및 프로모션 등을 협약했다.
우리은행 관계자는 “뱅크샐러드는 기존의 금융을 데이터로 해석한 핀테크 서비스로 2030세대로부터 주목받고 있다”며, “이번 협약은 우리은행이 지향하는 디지털 혁신을 구체적으로 제시하는 동시에 국내 데이터 경제 활성화에 기여할 것이다”고 말했다.
뱅크샐러드 역시 우리은행과의 협약을 통해 오픈 API 도입을 빠르게 도입하는 방향을 검토 중이라고 밝혔다. 또한, 우리은행을 시작으로 다양한 금융권과의 연계로 데이터 기반의 금융 서비스를 확대해 나갈 것이라고 밝혔다.

Woori Bank (bank president Sohn Tae-seung) signed an MOU with Bank Salad, a data-based asset management platform, to create a data financial environment to revitalize the data economy.
Through the agreement, Woori Bank and Bank Salad plan to jointly launch customer-tailored products and services based on financial data, utilizing the two companies' big data infrastructure and technological prowess. To that end, Woori Bank agreed to provide open APIs, 샐bank salad-linked financial instruments and services, and ▲joint product development and promotion.
"Bank salad is a fintech service that interprets existing finance as data, and is drawing attention from the 20s to 30s," a Woori Bank official said. "This agreement will provide specific digital innovations that Woori Bank aims for while contributing to revitalizing the domestic data economy."
Bank Salad also said it is considering a direction to quickly introduce the open API through an agreement with Woori Bank. It also said it will expand its data-based financial services by connecting with various financial institutions, starting with Woori Bank.
