신세계 스타필드의 대표적 휴양레저시설인 ‘아쿠아필드’가 베트남에 진출한다.

신세계건설(레저부문 대표 : 양춘만)은 베트남의 리조트 회사인 빈펄(VINPEARL)과 마스터 프랜차이즈 계약을 맺고, 오는 2020년 베트남의 대표적 휴양지인 나트랑과 푸꾸옥에 아쿠아필드를 선보이기로 했다고 10일 밝혔다.

지난 9일 저녁, 하노이에서 열린 계약 체결식에는 신세계건설 서화영 상무와 빈펄社 팜 띠 딴 흐엉(Phan Thi Thanh Huong) 부대표 등이 참석했다.

빈펄(VINPEARL)은 ‘베트남의 삼성’으로 불리는 베트남 최대 민간 기업인 빈(VIN)  그룹의 리조트 회사로, 신세계 건설은 이번 계약을 계기로 향후 빈(VIN)그룹이 운영하고 있는 호텔 및 쇼핑몰 등에도 아쿠아필드를 입점시킬 수 있을 것으로 기대하고 있다.

신세계건설은 2020년말 개장 예정인 빈펄의 나트랑과 푸꾸옥 리조트에 스타필드에 선보인 기존 아쿠아필드와 동일한 시설을 시공해 운영할 수 있도록 협력하는 대신 개장 후 10년 간 티켓 판매액의 일정 부분을 로열티로 받게 된다.

신세계건설은 설계 및 시공자문, 운영 매뉴얼, 직원 교육, 영업 및 마케팅을 지원하고, 빈펄은 시공 및 감리, 인허가, 전산개발 등을 맡아 개발할 예정이다.

이번 베트남 진출은 휴양레저 시설 신규 도입을 위해 여러 나라를 물색하던 빈 그룹의 제안으로 진행됐다.

빈 그룹은 유럽, 일본 등의 다양한 레저 시설을 둘러 보던 중 수준 높은 컨텐츠와 시설, 운영 노하우를 가진 아쿠아필드를 도입하기로 결정했다.

특히, 아쿠아필드의 고급스러운 인테리어와 주변의 자연경관을 함께 즐길 수 있는 시설 등을 높게 평가했으며, 한국과 베트남간 비슷한 국민 정서와 최근 베트남에 불고 있는 한류 열풍 등도 도움이 된 것으로 알려졌다.

지난 2016년 스타필드 하남에 첫 선을 보인 아쿠아필드는 워터파크, 찜질스파, 사우나, 푸드코트 등을 갖춘 복합 휴양 시설로, 자연경관과 함께 스파를 즐길 수 있을 뿐 아니라, 세계적으로 입증된 명품 소재만을 엄선해 찜질 스파에 담아냈다.

또, 최상의 휴식을 위해 움직임의 간격까지 섬세하게 고려해 설계된 국내 최고의  프리미엄 사우나와 독자 개발한 친환경 뷰티 어메니티, 키즈 케어 서비스 등 차별화된 운영을 통해 국내를 대표하는 휴양 시설로 인정받고 있다.

이번 베트남 진출은 국내 협력회사들의 성장을 돕는 상생 효과도 클 것으로 기대된다.

두 회사는 베트남 개발을 맡게 될 공사업체를 신세계건설에서 지정하기로 합의했는데, 신세계건설은 이번 베트남 개발에 기존 스타필드 아쿠아필드 공사를 진행했던 국내 인테리어, 시공 협력업체들과 함께 동반 진출할 계획이다.

협력회사 입장에서는 아쿠아필드를 통해 해외진출은 물론, 매출 성장의 두 마리 토끼를 잡는 효과를 잡을 수 기회를 갖게 된 셈이다.

신세계건설 양춘만 대표는 “수천 개의 리조트와 호텔을 운영하고 있는 빈 그룹에서 먼저 아쿠아필드 도입을 제안한 것은 아쿠아필드가 해외에서도 통할 수 있는 가능성을 보여준 것”이라며, “이번 베트남 진출을 시작으로 아쿠아필드가 글로벌 브랜드로 도약할 수 있도록 시설, 컨텐츠, 운영 등 모든 분야에서 최선을 다할 것”이라고 말했다.

Shinsegae's Starfield's flagship vacation home, "Aqua Field," will make inroads into Vietnam

Shinsegae Engineering & Construction (CEO of Leisure Division: Yang Chun-man) made an announcement on the 10th that it has signed a master franchise contract with Vietnam's resort company VINPEARL and decided to introduce Aquafield to Natrang and Pukuok, Vietnam's major resorts, in 2020.

On the evening of the 9th, Seo Hwa-young, executive vice president of Shinsegae Engineering & Construction, and Phan Thi Thanh Huong, vice president of Beanpole Corporation, attended the signing ceremony.

VINPEARL is a resort company of Vietnam's largest private company called Vietnam's Samsung, and Shinsegae Construction expects the deal to allow Aquafields to be located in hotels and shopping malls operated by Binh Group in the future.

Instead of cooperating with Starfield to build and operate the same facilities as the existing Aquafield, which was introduced at Starfield at the Natrang and Pukuok resorts in Vinpaul, which are scheduled to open in late 2020, Shinsegae will receive a certain portion of ticket sales over the next 10 years as royalties.

Shinsegae Engineering & Construction will support design and construction advice, operation manual, staff training, sales and marketing, while Bean Pearl will be developed in charge of construction and supervision, licensing and computer development.

The planned entry into Vietnam was made at the suggestion of the empty group, which was looking for several countries to introduce new facilities for the resort.

While touring various leisure facilities in Europe, Japan and other countries, Bean Group decided to introduce Aquafields with high-quality content, facilities and operational know-how.

In particular, he highly evaluated the luxurious interior of Aquafield and the facilities where people can enjoy the natural scenery together, and the similar public sentiment between Korea and Vietnam and the recent Hallyu wave in Vietnam are also known to have helped.

Aquafield, which debuted in Starfield Hanam in 2016, is a complex resort facility equipped with a water park, a steam spa, a sauna and a food court, where visitors can enjoy the spa along with the natural scenery, as well as select globally proven luxury materials in a steaming spa.

It is also recognized as a resort facility representing the country through differentiated operations such as the country's top premium sauna, self-developed eco-friendly beauty amenity and Kids Care service, designed with delicate consideration of even the intervals of movement for the best possible rest.

The entry into Vietnam is also expected to have a large win-win effect that will help Korean partner companies grow.

The two companies have agreed to designate a construction company in Shinsegae Engineering & Construction Co., which will be in charge of Vietnam's development, along with local interior and construction partners who have carried out the construction of the existing Starfield Aquafield in the development of Vietnam.

From the perspective of its partner companies, the company has a chance to catch the two rabbits that grow in sales as well as overseas advancement through Aquafield.
