휴메딕스의 자회사 파나시가 비뇨기계 의료장비 시장에 전격 진출하며 사업 영토를 확장에 나섰다. 유료앤텍은 통즈의학 의료기기 개발·제조 전문기업이다. 파나시는 유로앤텍의 M&A를 바탕으로 국산 고품질 의료장비 기술 개발과 글로벌 사업 다각화에 나설 방침이다.

20일 M&A업계에 따르면 파나시의 유로앤택 M&A 계약은 지난 15일 이뤄졌다. 파나시가 유로앤텍을 인수합병하기로 결정한 요인으로는 유로앤텍의 '해외시장 영향력'이 배경으로 꼽힌다.
파나시 관계자는 "더마샤인 의료기를 중심으로 기존의 전문성을 보유하고 있던 피부과, 성형외과 중심의 에스테틱 의료장비 사업을 넘어 새로운 성장 동력을 수혈하고 타깃 시장을 확대하기 위해 유로앤텍과 M&A를 결정했다"고 밝혔다.

유로앤텍은 독자적으로 마그네틱 실린더 방식의 체외충격파쇄석기와 체외충격파치료기를 개발·제조한 국내 최초의 기업이다. 비뇨기와 정형외과, 통증의학 관련 영역에서 독보적 기술력을 보유하고 있다. 마그네틱 실린더 방식은 기존의 스파크 갭(Spark gap) 타입에 비해 소음이 작고 암대 일체형으로 돼있어 시술이 편리하다. 포커스가 섬세해 쇄석률이 높고 치료 효과도 뛰어나다.

유로앤텍의 체외충격파쇄석기는 이미 유럽과 태국, 인도네시아 등 해외 시장에 진출해 있다. 특히 인도네시아 현지 대형 병원에서 활발히 사용되는 등 기술력을 인정받고 있다. 특히 체외충격파 기술을 응용해 국내 최초 임상 결과까지 가지고 있는 발기부전치료기 'IMPO88'도 보유중이다. 최근에는 적응증 확대를 위해 'IMPO88'의 전립선염 통증 치료에 대한 국내 최초 임상 시험도 순항하고 있는 것으로 알려졌다.

파나시는 M&A를 통해 국내 시장뿐 아니라 인구 고령화로 체외충격파 치료에 대한 수요가 높은 일본과 유럽 등을 적극 공략해 해외 시장 진출에 속도를 낸다는 구상이다.

박병무 파나시 대표는 "유로앤텍의 M&A는 신규 분야 제조 기술 확보뿐 아니라 미래 사업 다각화와 해외 시장 진출 동력을 확보했다는 측면에서 의미가 있다"며 "에스테틱, 비뇨기, 정형외과, 통증의학 등 다양한 의료분야를 아우르는 차별화된 개발 및 제조 기술 역량을 발휘해 종합 의료장비 전문 기업으로 자리매김 하겠다"고 말했다.

[M&A] Panace and Euro&Tec enter the medical equipment market

Panace, a subsidiary of Humedix, has expanded its business territory by making a surprise entry into the urinary machinery and medical equipment market. Paid-and-Tech is a company that specializes in developing and manufacturing Tongzu medical devices. Based on Euro&Tec's M&A, Panace plans to develop high-quality medical equipment technology in Korea and diversify its global business.



According to the M&A industry on the 20th, Panace's contract for Euro & Tack M&A took place on the 15th. Panace's decision to take over Euro and Tech is attributed to Euro and Tech's "influence in overseas markets."
An official from Panace said, "We decided to do Euro-Antech and M&A to transfuse new growth engines and expand the target market beyond the dermatology and plastic surgery-oriented esthetic medical equipment business, which had existing expertise centered on Dermatocin medical devices."



Euro&Tec is the first Korean company to develop and manufacture magnetic cylinder-type external shock shatter and external shock wave therapy devices. It has unrivaled technical skills in the fields related to urology, orthopedics and pain medicine. The magnetic cylinder method is less noisy than the conventional spark gap type and has an integral cancer bed, making the procedure easier. The focus is delicate, which has a high rate of precipitation and excellent treatment effects.



Euro-and-Tech's in vitro shock breaking stone machine has already entered overseas markets such as Europe, Thailand and Indonesia. In particular, it is actively used in large hospitals in Indonesia and is recognized for its technological prowess. In particular, it also has an erectile dysfunction treatment device called IMPO88, which has the first clinical results in Korea by applying in vitro shock wave technology. Recently, it has been reported that Korea's first clinical trial on the treatment of prostatitis pain of "IMPO88" is also cruising to expand the symptoms.



Through M&A, Panace plans to actively target not only the domestic market but also Japan and Europe, where demand for in vitro shock wave treatment is high due to the aging population, to speed up its entry into overseas markets.
