보레알리스, 디와이엠 솔루션 지배 지분 인수 "기술 강화 나선다" 오스트리아 전력케이블용 반도전 제조업체 보레알리스AG(보레알리스)가 한국의 컴파운드 전문회사인 디와이엠 솔루션의 지배 지분을 인수했다. 보레알리스는 지분 인수를 통해 전 세계 전선 및 케이블 분야에서 파트너로서의 입지를 확대해 나간다는 계획이다. 반도전은 전력케이블의 도체(구리, 은)에만 전류가 흐르도록 함으로써 케이블의 오작동을 막는 물질이다.

1일 인수합병(M&A)에 따르면 보레알리스는 지난달 31일 디와이엠 솔루션의 지배 지분을 인수를 마무리했다. 디와이엠 솔루션은 산업용 전선 및 케이블 컴파운드 솔루션 공급하는 회사다. 1992년 설립 이후 반도전, HFFR(할로겐-프리 난연), 고무 및 실란 경화(Silane-cured) 컴파운드 전문회사로 입지를 굳혔다.

보레알리스는 디와이엠 솔루션 지분 인수를 통해 현재 운영 중인 전선 및 케이블 자산 범위를 전 세계로 확장하고 '전 세계에 에너지를 공급한다'는 사명을 구현한다는 계획이다. 반도전, 난연, 고무 및 실란 교차 결합 컴파운드를 위한 보완 제품군 및 기술을 통해 광범위하고 정교한 포트폴리오에 나설 것으로 알려졌다.

인수를 통해 개선될 서비스는 즉각적 생산 능력 확장을 통한 제품 공급의 안전성 확보, 지정학적 자산 범위 및 공급 베이스 확장 통한 로컬 서비스 강화 , 상호 보완적 제품 및 기술로 광범위하고 정교한 포트폴리오 구축 및 제품군 확대, 시스템 개선을 통한 보다 긴 수명의 케이블 제공 및 시장 요구사항 충족 등이다.

[M&A] Borealis AG to acquire DYM Solution's controlling stake in "Strengthening Technology"

Borealis AG, Austrian power cable maker Borealis AG, has acquired a controlling stake in DYM Solution, a South Korean compounding company. Borealis AG plans to expand its position as a partner in the global front and cable sectors by acquiring shares. Peninsular electricity is a material that prevents cables from malfunctioning by allowing current to flow only to conductors (copper and silver) of power cables.



According to M&A on the 1st, Borealis AG completed its acquisition of a controlling stake in DYM Solution on the 31st of last month. DYM Solution is a company that supplies industrial wire and cable compound solutions. Since its establishment in 1992, it has established itself as a company specializing in Peninsular, HFFFR (Halogen-Free Nanyeon), rubber and silane-cured compounds.



Borealis AG plans to expand the scope of wire and cable assets currently in operation around the world through the acquisition of DYM Solution shares and implement its mission of 'supplying energy to the world'. It is known that the company will embark on a broad and sophisticated portfolio through complementary suites and technologies for peninsular warfare, flame retardation, rubber and silane cross-combination compounds.



Services to be improved through acquisitions include securing the safety of product supply through immediate expansion of production capacity, strengthening local services through expansion of geopolitical asset scope and supply base, building a broad and sophisticated portfolio with complementary products and technologies, providing longer lifetimes through system improvements and meeting market requirements.
