포티넷코리아(포티넷)가 서비스형 소프트웨어(SaaS) 플랫폼 업체인 파놉타를 인수했다고 21일 밝혔다. 포티넷은 파놉타의 인수를 통해 자사의 보안 패브릭을 파놉타의 확장 가능한 네트워크 모니터링 및 진단 플랫폼과 결합 포괄적인 네트워크 및 보안 운영 관리 솔루션을 제공한다는 계획이다.

포티넷에 따르면 파놉타는 서버, 네트워크 장치, 컨테이너, 애플리케이션, 데이터베이스, 가상 어플라이언스 및 클라우드 인프라를 포함한 엔터프라이즈 네트워크 상태에 대한 관리를 자동화하고 전체 스택에 대한 가시성을 제공하는 회사다. 클라우드 기반 솔루션은 컨테이너, 클라우드, 온-프레미스 또는 하이브리드에 관계없이 어떤 환경에서도 모든 서비스, 네트워크 장치 및 애플리케이션에 대한 가시성을 제공한다.

통합 솔루션은 고객의 하이브리드 네트워크 인프라의 보안 기능과 성능을 더욱 높여주며, 클라우드 기반을 포함해 포티넷의 보안 서비스를 지원하는 인프라 효율성 및 실시간 모니터링 기능을 더욱 향상시킬 수 있다. 보안 접근 서비스 엣지(SASE), 이메일, 보안 분석 및 웹 앱 방화벽은 플랫폼에서 제공하는 모니터링 및 진단 기능의 이점을 누릴 수 있고, 포티게이트 차세대 방화벽 및 시큐어 소프트웨어 정의 광대역 네트워크(SD-WAN) 솔루션을 통합해 SD-WAN 연결성 및 성능을 확대하는 식이다.

Fortinet Korea (Fortinet) announced on the 21st that it has acquired Panopta, a software-as-a-service platform company. With Panopta's acquisition, Fortinet plans to combine its security fabric with Panopta's scalable network monitoring and diagnostic platform to provide a comprehensive network and security operations management solution.

According to Fortinet, Panopta is a company that automates management of enterprise network health, including servers, network devices, containers, applications, databases, virtual appliances, and cloud infrastructure, and provides visibility into the entire stack. Cloud-based solutions provide visibility into all services, network devices, and applications in any environment, regardless of container, cloud, on-premise, or hybrid.

The integrated solution further enhances the security and performance of your hybrid network infrastructure, and further improves infrastructure efficiency and real-time monitoring that supports Fortinet's security services, including the cloud foundation. Secure Access Services Edge (SASE), email, security analytics, and web app firewalls benefit from the platform's monitoring and diagnostic capabilities, and integrate portgate next-generation firewall and secure software-defined broadband network (SD-WAN) solutions to expand SD-WAN connectivity and performance.
