야놀자가 국내 호텔 솔루션 기업 산하정보기술을 인수했다. 호텔 및 리조트 등 다양한 여가 시설로 비대면 솔루션 적용 범위를 확대하기 위한 일환에서다.

야놀자는 전 세계 170여 개국 2만6000여 개 여가 업체에 서비스를 제공 중인 클라우드 기반 호스피탈리티 솔루션 기업이다. 지난 2017년부터 여가 산업에 적용할 수 있는 서비스형 소프트웨어(Software as a Service, SaaS) 플랫폼을 개발해왔다. 지난해 가람, 씨리얼, 이지테크노시스 등 국내외 호텔 자산관리 시스템(PMS) 기업들을 인수해 원천 기술을 확보하고 있다.

야놀자가 인수한 산하정보기술은 1994년 설립된 후 호텔, 리조트, 골프장, 레스토랑 등 여가 시설분야 정보기술(IT) 솔루션을 개발, 서비스하는 곳이다. 더케이호텔과 롯데리조트 등 주요 호텔, 리조트를 비롯해 베스트웨스턴 호텔그룹과 윈덤 호텔그룹 등 글로벌 호텔 브랜드 1000여 곳에 서비스를 제공중이다. 최근 인공지능(AI) 기반 마케팅 솔루션을 개발하는 한편 일본 등 아시아 시장에 PMS을 공급하고 있다.

야놀자는 산하정보기술의 풍부한 사업 경험과 노하우가 자사 기술력과 시너지를 기대하고 있다. 향후 양사 기술 및 서비스를 결합해 호텔, 리조트 등 다양한 여가시설로 비대면 솔루션을 확대 적용한다는 목표다. 앞서 양사는 지난 2019년부터 사물인터넷(IoT) 등을 활용한 비대면 호텔 플랫폼을 공동 개발한 바 있다.

야놀자는 자체 개발한 종합 호텔 자동화 솔루션 ‘와이플럭스(Y FLUX)’ 관련 산하정보기술과 협업도 강화한다. 산하정보기술이 호텔, 리조트, 골프장, 레스토랑 등 다양한 카테고리 고객사를 보유하고 있는 만큼 와이플럭스 적용 범위를 보다 넓힐 수 있다는 전략이다.

김종윤 야놀자 부문 대표는 “국내외 호텔 관리 솔루션 시장을 선도해 온 양사의 결합을 통해 언택트(비대면) 환경 확산 및 디지털 전환에 박차를 가할 것으로 기대한다”며 “디지털 기술과 접목한 혁신적인 SaaS 솔루션을 통해 글로벌 호스피탈리티 시장을 선도하는 기술기업 입지를 공고히 할 것”이라고 말했다.

[M&A]  Yanolja,acquisition of Sanha Information Technology…Strengthen the Competitive Edge of Hotel Solutions

Yanolja has acquired Sanha Information Technology, a domestic hotel solution company. This is part of the plan to expand the scope of non-face-to-face solutions to various leisure facilities such as hotels and resorts.



Yanolja is a cloud-based hospitability solution company that provides services to 26,000 leisure companies in 170 countries around the world. It has been developing software as a service (SaaS) platforms that can be applied to leisure industries since 2017. Last year, it acquired domestic and foreign hotel asset management system (PMS) companies such as Garam, Cereal, and EZ Technologies to secure source technology.



Sanha Information Technology, which was acquired by Yanolja in 1994, is a place to develop and service IT solutions in leisure facilities such as hotels, resorts, golf courses, and restaurants. It is providing services to more than 1,000 global hotel brands, including major hotels and resorts such as The K Hotel and Lotte Resort, as well as Best Western Hotel Group and Wyndham Hotel Group. It is currently developing AI-based marketing solutions and supplying PMS to Asian markets such as Japan.



Yanolja expects Sanha Information Technology's rich business experience and know-how to be its own technology and synergy. Its goal is to expand and apply non-face-to-face solutions to various leisure facilities such as hotels and resorts by combining technologies and services from both companies in the future. Previously, the two companies jointly developed non-face-to-face hotel platforms using the Internet of Things (IoT) since 2019.



Yanolja will also strengthen cooperation with Sanha Information Technology on its own comprehensive hotel automation solution called YFLUX. As Sanha Information Technology has customers of various categories such as hotels, resorts, golf courses, and restaurants, its strategy is to expand the scope of Wi-Plux application.



"We expect the combination of the two companies, which have been leading the domestic and foreign hotel management solutions, to accelerate the spread of the untact environment and digital transformation," said Kim Jong-yoon, head of Yanolja.
