[러시아 모스크바 = 김원일 칼럼니스트] = 알렉산드르 코즐로프 러시아 극동개발부 장관은 최근 제1차 한러지방협력포럼에서 러시아 극동 지방이 엄청난 투자 잠재력을 보유하고 있으며 한국 투자자들을 간절히 기다리고 있다고 밝혔다.

러시아 주요 언론 등에 따르면 "현재 양자협력 발전을 위해 사용되고 있는 잠재력은 아주 작은 부분에 불과하다"며 이같이 밝혔다. 코즐로프 장관은 “우리는 양국협력을 활성화하기 원하며, 러시아 극동에 거대한 잠재력이 있는 것을 감안할 때, 이번 포럼이 양국협력 활성화에 일조하기를 바란다.”라고 말했다.

특히 코즐로프 장관은 “한러 지역들의 상호 협력점을 찾는 것을 주요 과제로 설정한 이번 포럼에 큰 희망을 가지고 있다”고 강조했다.

또 “러시아 대표단은 5명의 주지사를 포함해 총 100여명 이상으로 구성되어 있다”면서 "러시아 극동이 한러 교역의 3분의 1이상인 37.5%를 차지하고 있다"고 말했다. 또한 "극동에 대한 한국 투자 건 수는 모두 6개 프로젝트로 총 약 5천만 달러에 해당한다"고 덧붙였다.

[Russian Moscow = Kim Won-il columnist] = Russian Far East Development Minister Alexander Kozlov recently told the First Korea-Russia Regional Cooperation Forum that Russia's Far East region has huge investment potential and is eagerly awaiting Korean investors.


According to major Russian media outlets, the potential currently being used for the development of bilateral cooperation is only a small fraction. "We want to boost bilateral cooperation, and given the huge potential in Russia's Far East, we hope the forum will help boost bilateral cooperation," Koslov said.

In particular, Koslov stressed that he has great hope for the forum, which has set finding mutual cooperation between South Korea and Russia as its main task.

Also, the Russian delegation consists of more than 100 people, including five governors, it said, adding that Russia's Far East accounts for 37.5 percent, or more than one-third of Korea-Russia trade. The total number of South Korean investments in the Far East is six projects, totaling about $50 million, it added.
