제3인터넷은행 예비인가 신청마감을 일주일 앞두고 주요 컨소시엄의 윤곽이 명확해지고 있다. 금융권을 필두로 IT기업, 온라인 쇼핑몰까지 컨소시엄 합류가 예상되며 판이 커지는 양상이다.
19일 업계에 따르면 제3인터넷은행 인가는 현재 '토스-신한금융' 컨소시엄과 '키움증권-하나금융-SK텔레콤' 컨소시엄 등 2파전으로 압축됐다.
금융서비스 플랫폼 ‘토스’를 운영하는 비바리퍼블리카와 신한금융그룹은 이번 주 안에 제3 인터넷은행 컨소시엄 참여업체를 확정하고 최종 명단을 공개할 계획이다. 추가적으로 합류할 업체로는 손해보험사 현대해상, 간편 회계서비스 ‘캐시노트’를 개발한 한국신용데이터, 모바일 부동산 중개서비스 업체 직방, 온라인 패션쇼핑몰 무신사, 전자상거래 솔루션 제공업체 카페24 등이 물망에 오르고 있다.
'키움증권-하나금융-SK텔레콤' 컨소시엄도 조만간 최종 참여 업체 명단을 확정한다. 현재 SK텔레콤의 자회사 ‘11번가’ 등이 참여를 검토 중인 것으로 전해졌다. SK텔레콤은 지난해 3·4분기 기준 11번가 지분을 80.3%를 보유하고 있다.
한편 지난달 개최된 인터넷전문은행 예비인가 설명회에 참석했던 위메프, BGF, 티맥스 등은 사업 참여 여부를 결정하지 못한 것으로 알려졌다. 제3인터넷은행 예비인가 신청마감일은 오는 27일이다.

The outline of a major consortium is becoming clear a week before the application deadline for a preliminary approval of a third Internet bank. IT companies and online shopping malls are expected to join the consortium, with financial institutions leading the way.
According to industries on the 19th, approval of third internet bank is currently reduced to two-way competition between 'Toss-Shinhan Financial' consortium and 'Kium Securities-Hana Financial-SK Telecom' consortium.
Vivaripublica, which runs the financial services platform "Toss," and Shinhan Financial Group plan to finalize a third Internet bank consortium participant within this week and unveil the final list. Among the additional companies to join are Hyundai Marine & Marine Insurance Co., Korea Credit Data Corp., which developed simple accounting service "Cash Note," Mobile Real Estate Broker Service Co. and online fashion shopping mall Unsinshin Corp. and e-commerce solution provider Cafe 24.
The "Kium Securities-Hana Financial-SK Telecom" consortium will also finalize the list of participating companies soon. It is heard that SK Telecom's subsidiary called '11th Street' is currently considering participating in this project. SK Telecom had an 80.3 percent stake in 11th Street as of the third and fourth quarters of last year.
Meanwhile, Wimef, BGF and T-Max, who attended a preliminary meeting of Internet-only banks held last month, reportedly failed to decide whether to participate in the project. The deadline for applications for preliminary approval of the third Internet bank is the 27th of this month.
