IBK기업은행(은행장 김도진)은 ‘IBK-BNW 기술금융 2018 펀드’의 네 번째 투자 기업으로 인플루언서 기반 마케팅 혁신기술 보유 기업인 옐로스토리(대표 장대규, 정연)를 선정하고 투자를 완료했다고 8일 밝혔다.
투자금액은 120억원이며, 투자대상 회사의 현 경영진이 일부 금액을 공동 투자해 경영권 지분을 인수하는 경영자매수(MBO, Management Buy-out) 방식의 투자형태로 이뤄졌다.
옐로스토리는 빅데이터 기반의 인플루언서 마케팅 플랫폼 운영 기업이다. 플랫폼을 통해 마케팅을 원하는 소상공인·중소기업 등과 SNS에서 전파력이 큰 인플루언서를 연결하고, 마케팅 전 과정에 대한 모니터링, 보고서 등을 자동으로 제공한다.
기업은행 관계자는 “옐로스토리는 급성장 중인 인플루언서 마케팅 시장의 선두주자”라며, “국내 소상공인의 지역 마케팅은 물론 동남아 시장 진출로 중소기업의 글로벌 마케팅이 가능해지는 등 사업 확장성이 크다”고 투자 이유를 밝혔다.
한편 기업은행은 중소기업의 생애주기에 맞춰 성장(Scale-up), 재도약(Level-up), 선순환(Cycle-up)을 지원하는 동반자금융(3-up)을 추진 중으로, 지난해 6월 BNW인베스트먼트와 1500억원 규모의 ‘IBK-BNW 기술금융 2018 펀드’를 조성했다.
기업은행 관계자는 “4차 산업혁명 관련 기업 등 기술력과 성장 잠재력이 높은 기업들을 적극 발굴·투자해 투자수익 확보는 물론 혁신 중소기업의 도약과 일자리 창출에 기여하겠다”고 말했다.
