국내 IT 솔루션 공급서비스 기업인 아이티센이 쌍용정보통신을 인수했다. 아이티센은 쌍용정보통신 인수를 바탕으로 글로벌 시장 진출 도태를 만들 수 있게 됐다.

20일 인수합병(M&A)업계에 따르면 아이티센은 쌍용정보통신 M&A는 분 40%를 인수하는 형태로 진행됐다. 지분 인수 규모는 274억원이다.

아이티센의 쌍용정보통신 M&A는 플랫폼 비즈니스 기업으로 도약하기 위한 전략적인 선택이다. 쌍용정보통신은 국방, 스포츠, 네트워크 통합 분야에서 독보적인 기술력과 역사를 자랑하는 국내 IT 서비스1호 기업으로 지난해 연결기준 매출액 1082억5989만원을 기록했다. 아이티센은 2018년 한국금거래소와 콤텍시스템을 인수한 만큼 쌍용정보통신 인수를 통해 금융, 서비스, 제조, 유통 분야까지 사업 영역을 넓힐 수 있게 됐다.

아이티센은 지난해 3분기 누적 매출액 1조원대를 돌파하며 창사 이래 최대 매출과 영업이익 달성을 앞두고 있는 만큼 실적을 바탕으로 글로벌 시장 진출에도 적극 나설 계획이다.

강진모 아이티센그룹 회장은 “창사 이래 그룹 최대 실적을 기대하고 있는 가운데 국방, 스포츠, NI 분야에서 독보적인 기술력과 다수의 해외사업 레퍼런스를 가진 쌍용정보통신 인수에 오랜 공을 들여 왔다”며 “쌍용정보통신은 카자흐스탄 동계아시안게임, 2015유니버버사이드 수영대회, 2018자카르타-팔렘방 아시안게임, 평창 동계올림픽, 세계 군인체육대회 등 각종 대회의 정보시스템 구축·운영으로 검증된 글로벌 스포츠 IT 솔루션과 운영능력을 보유하고 있다”고 말했다.

그는 또 “2019년 말 소프트센의 전략적 매각을 통해 중화권 투자자를 통한 글로벌 진출을 위한 길을 열었고, 아이티센그룹의 클라우드 솔루션과 센골드 플랫폼 등 해외 진출을 준비해왔다”며 “쌍용정보통신 인수에 성공함에 따라 쌍용정보통신의 해외브랜드파워와 검증된 글로벌 솔루션과 함께 우수한 기술인력도 얻게 됐다”고 말했다.

아이티센그룹은 각 계열사 고유의 기술력과 솔루션을 활용해 베이징 동계올림픽대회 등 해외 IT 서비스 시장에서 진출 속도를 더욱 높이게 됐다.

아이티센의 쌍용정보통신 인수는 수앤파이낸셜인베스트먼트와 함께 진행됐다. 수앤파이낸셜인베스트먼트는 소프트센 인수에 참여하는 등 아이티센그룹의 핵심 전략적 파트너로 자리매김중이다.

김철중 수앤파이낸셜인베스트먼트 대표는 “아이티센그룹과 협업뿐만 아니라 홍콩 전자지갑 1위 업체인 TNG투자, 소프트센 및 콤텍정보통신, 소프트아이텍, 인수 등 ICT 분야에 집중하고 있다”며 “향후 소재·부품·장비업체까지 해외경쟁력을 갖출 수 있는 유망한 업체를 발굴해서 투자영역을 확대하려고 한다”고 밝혔다.

Itcen, a local IT solutions supply service company, has acquired Ssangyong Information and Communication. Based on the acquisition of Ssangyong Information and Communication, Haitiansen will be able to create a cull to enter the global market.


According to the M&A industry on Tuesday, itcen took over 40 percent of Ssangyong Information and Communication's M&A. The stake acquisition is worth 27.4 billion won.


Itcen's Ssangyong Information and Communication M&A is a strategic choice to become a platform business enterprise. Ssangyong Information and Communications is the nation's first IT service company, which boasts unrivaled technological prowess and history in defense, sports and network integration, and posted 108.25989 billion won in consolidated sales last year. Since it acquired Comtec System with the Korea Gold Exchange in 2018, it will be able to expand its business scope to finance, service, manufacturing and distribution sectors through the acquisition of Ssangyong Information and Communication.


Itcen plans to make inroads into global markets based on its performance as it is set to achieve its biggest sales and operating profit since its inception, surpassing the 1 trillion won mark in accumulated sales in the third quarter of last year.

"While we are expecting the best performance of the group since its inception, we have long made efforts to acquire Ssangyong Information and Communication, which has a unique technological capability in defense, sports and NI fields, and a number of overseas business references," said Kang Jin-mo, chairman of Itcen Group, adding that SsangYong Information and Communication has a global system of information and sports, which has been proven to be the Asian Games in Kazakhstan, the 2015 Universal Asia Games, the 2018 Winter Games, the Asian Games, the 2018 Jakarta-Palembang Asian Games, and the 2018 Winter Games, and the PyeongChang Winter Games, and the world."


"We opened the way for global expansion through Chinese investors through the strategic sale of SoftSen in late 2019 and have been preparing for overseas expansion such as Itcen Group's cloud solution and Segold platform," he said. "As we succeeded in acquiring SsangYong Information and Communication, we gained excellent technical manpower along with our overseas brand power and proven global solutions."


Itcen Group will further speed up its advance into overseas IT service markets, including the Beijing Winter Olympics, by utilizing technology and solutions unique to each affiliate.

Itcen's acquisition of Ssangyong Information and Communication was conducted with Su & Financial Investment. Su & Financial Investments is establishing itself as a key strategic partner of the Haitian Group by participating in the acquisition of SoftSen.

"We are focusing on ICT areas such as TNG Investment, SoftSen and Comtec Information Communication, SoftITEC, SoftITEC, and acquisition, as well as cooperation with ITISEN Group," said Kim Chul-joong, CEO of SUN Financial Investment.

Su & Financial Investments is a subsidiary of Su & Partners, a strong player of South Korea's crossboard M&A, which has a rich overseas network.
